This cemetery is located just north of 185th Street and Terrace Avenue. In the 1885 Pottawattamie County Atlas, the land around the cemetery was owned by Jno. Ryan who is buried here.
There is a large white pillar with a large bell on top and the name of the cemetery. At one time, there was a Catholic Church here, but it has been torn down. There is a horseshoe-shaped drive through the cemetery. To simplify things, we read it in three sections: East (nearest the road), Middle (between the sides of the horseshoe) and West (farthest from the road). The rows were numbered in each section starting nearest the road.
